The imported project “C:\Microsoft.CSharp.targets” was not found

Open your csproj file in notepad (or notepad++)
Find the line:

<Import Project="$(MSBuildToolsPath)\Microsoft.CSharp.targets" />

and change it to

<Import Project="$(MSBuildBinPath)\Microsoft.CSharp.targets" />
